*6 MONTH+* *Job Description* A direct client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is actively looking to bring on a* Senior ETL Developer *to be based in New York City. Our client is looking for: Senior ETL Developer with good banking & finance background. Candidate will be responsible for following: - Work closely with business analysts in NY and London to understand business requirements and deliver ETL / database solution. - Analyze data quality issue reported in UAT/Production and provide resolution. - Analyze data sourcing / ETL issue in UAT/ Production and provide resolution. Opera DAL is a sub ledger system which processes about 50 Million records every day in production across 20 products in 3 regions. When user raises incident tickets sometimes Production support will require Dev analysis by a senior developer and this will be time critical and will need to happen during NY hour. Every quarter Client has a major release spanning across multiple projects, many times UAT & Functional issue identified during NY hours sometime requires immediate data analysis and codes fixes in Infomatica / database modules which demands a Senior Informatica/ Database developer role in NY.
