· UI is currently in Swing---migrating to JSFX

· Must have low level JNI/Java native development expertise and
able to code with it in interview.
· RF Spectrum Analytics Applications --- rail/port/telco checking
spectrum interference monitoring
· Broadband scanning of full spectrum looking for anomalies of
interference coming from spectrum sharing, nodes, spec hands, etc…
· Big part of the responsive portal team is in Argentina with the 4
lead develops in Batesville, MD
· Consultant must be a true consultant and able to hold their own
and defend their stances and opinions but then follow directions once a
decision is made.
· Designs, develops, and implements Java backend applications to
support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies,
creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves
technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
Incumbents act as internal consultants, providing technical guidance or
business process expertise on the most complex projects or researching
strategic planning matters from a technical or business standpoint.
· This position will identify causes and implement solutions to
business problems in a multifunctional project, assessing and communicating
issues of technology impact on the business.
· Critical Required - Object Oriented Modeling
· Critical Required - JNI (java Native Interface) Development
· Critical Required - Java Development, JQuery, JSON/XML
· Critical Required – Web Services/REST/JSON-RPC
· Critical Required – HTML5/CSS
· Required – Visualization experience in plugin like Highcharts/D3
· Required – Spring/Hibernate and Swing
*MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:*
· Working knowledge in technical leadership of remote development
teams
· Current knowledge in systems development of computing
architectures and environments; knowledge or relevant technology, tools,
and middleware is critical.
· Provide technical expertise within an assigned business unit/area
in the analysis, design, and development of business applications.
· Accountable for major development responsibilities of
large/complex projects or across multiple, nearly simultaneous smaller
projects.
· Evaluate application software packages and make recommendations
to management.
· Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues,
suggesting alternative solutions.
· Participate in business and IT project estimation activities,
from the position of being a subject matter expert.
*Technical/Skills*
· Highly Preferred – JS Angular2/TypeScript
· Highly Preferred – RF Test and Measurement or related industry
experience
· Highly Preferred – Hibernate and Tomcat development experience
· Preferred - C++ Development
· Preferred - JFX
· Preferred – Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Development -
(Google API experience)
· Preferred – Data Base Design and Development
· Preferred - User Experience Development
· Preferred - UI/UX Design Experience (User Interface (UI) User
Experience (UX)
· Preferred - Steaming or Batch processing/mediation/ETL
· Preferred - SQL development (Datastax Spark and Cassandra is the
data base environment in addition to MYSQL)
