It would be a long term engagement. Following is a description of the type of skill sets needed:* *Minimum Qualifications* · 5+ years experience in a high-availability data center environment for serving large web services. · Knowledge of Ruby (or some knowledge or Python but strong desire to learn Ruby) as all of our administration work is done in Ruby. · System experience both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and noSQL (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB), along with related caching software (e.g., memcache, Redis). · Some knowledge of Chef is required. · Experience using version control using Git. · Involvement in the Open Source community (code writing, patch submission, bug reporting, etc) is a plus. *Qualifications: * · Must have a university degree or equivalent experience · 3-5 years hands-on database administration related work experience with a focus on Cassandra.
