*Position: Infrastructure Manager/Director*

*Location: Atlanta, GA*

*Duration: 6 months*



Good afternoon.  We have a client in the Dunwoody area of Georgia seeking a
hands-on IT Infrastructure Senior Manager\Director for a 6 month contract
role.  The client is a $3B+ North American manufacturing company. The job
description is below.



Primarily, they are seeking someone with a strong technical background who
began his or her career as an engineer or systems admin and has matured
into a strong leader with people development, project leader and budgeting
skills. This is a very immature environment so turnaround experience is
also helpful.



*Job Duties:*

   - Drives a culture of accountability and quality across the Enterprise
   Infrastructure organization
   - Drives continuous improvement initiatives across the Enterprise
   Infrastructure organization to find and enable efficiencies
   - Oversee infrastructure and construction projects to ensure timescales,
   designs/specifications, quality
   - Establish and refine strategic direction for the use of cloud and
   premise technology infrastructure within the organization
   - Develops and leads teams supporting engineering of new infrastructure
   solutions and operational support for infrastructure
   - Achieves service level agreements for all critical infrastructure
   - Accountable for DR planning, testing, and implementation



*Experience*

   - The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years leading IT infrastructure
   (Director or VP level) for companies with revenue of 1+ billion dollars.
   Candidates with manufacturing experience highly desirable.
   - Must have led data center and network engineering teams.
   - Experience managing cloud and on premise assets with experience
   migrating on premise based assets to cloud environments.
   - Experience with ITIL or Six Sigma background is desired.
   - BS/BA Degree



The environment is standardized on Cisco for server hardware (B- and
C-Series) and most of the network hardware incl. voice, VMware for server
virtualization and Citrix for desktop virtualization, Microsoft for server
OS and Databases with the exception of a few Unix system and the midrange
systems for our ERP environment (AIX with UniVerse Databases), EMC for
Storage and Backup, Palo Alto for firewalls, load balancing is provided by
a combination of Citrix and F5. Power distribution is Schneider Electric
with a few exceptions where Tripp Lite is used.
