Need Service Now Architect Location: *Mason, OH*
Length: 6 months Interview: Phone/Skype As an Architect driving managed services offerings and having distinct capabilities to delve deeply into technical solutions, you will be responsible for translating client/internal needs into specific technical requirements that are agreed upon with the line of business and team members ultimately responsible for operating them; this includes business analysis and requirements gathering, conceptual architecture design, detailed costing, contractual statement of work, SLA’s, commercial proposals, executive interaction with both internal and customer management, and successful handoff to delivery teams for solution implementations. You are recognized as the subject matter expert both internally and with clients; developing complex technical solutions as part of an overall solution framework and engagement team. Additional responsibilities include overseeing projects through to completion from an architectural design perspective and providing leadership in that regard to ensure client expectations and SLAs are fulfilled. Overall you will: * Establish an expert framework of competency in technical areas required in solutions design. * Create and maintain strong relationships; fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and cooperation. * Create technical and services solutions that are market competitive as well as targeting specific client needs. * Procure costing information and quotes as necessary for the technical solutions designed. * Serve as the key interface to Global and local teams to assure solution acceptance and delivery. High level understanding of the following: * Automation technologies – IPsoft IPcenter * Systems integration – ServiceNow, SCOM and Nagios Monitoring tools, Oracle and other enterprise service bus technologies * Authentication Technologies such as Active Directory, LDAP, Oracle Identity Management * Linux, Windows, and Unix Hardware/Operating Systems * Server Virtualization Technologies such as VMWare * High Availability Technologies including Replication, Load Balancing and Disaster Recovery * Network architecture and design REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: * 7+ yrs of IT experience with Application hosting solutions architecture and design * Significant experience with solutions development, testing, proof of concept and migrations; problem solving and root cause analysis * Consultative approach with internal and client teams and ability to articulate technical concepts using simple business language for the non-technical. * Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities. * Ability to manage multiple deliverables with competing priority, expert time and task management skills * Ability to build strong relationships and trust across both internal and external organizations * Ability to decide critical design, operational and financial points with great accuracy in a short time frame * High level understanding and experience of application development life-cycle and alternative SDLC methodologies such as Agile * General Business acumen * Superior written and verbal communication skills * Prior experience with managing projects Purpose: Supplier will provide services to Atos or Atos’ client as defined below on a flat rate This role is typically engaged as the highest-level technology expert on a project team. Partners with business analysts, systems analysts and engineers in requirements gathering and reviews. Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives. Works with enterprise architecture, application and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for the project. Develops enterprise level solutions that integrate across applications, systems and platforms. Proposes changes in process, policy and standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems. Viewed as a technical expert and critical resource across multiple disciplines. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has 7 to 10 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 2 to 3 years of relevant architecture and project management experience.
