May serve as primary liaison between telecommunication vendors and leadership. Evaluates progress and results and recommends major changes in procedures. Keeps abreast of latest technology advances. Provides telecommunication voice hardware and software solutions to undefined business user needs. Extensive knowledge of business user requirements. Consistently provides direction and mentoring to less experienced team members. Involved in vendor management. Works on telecommunication voice projects of considerable magnitude and complexity. Advises leadership on practical applications and limitations of proposed upgrades and projects." Project: EMC facilities moves. This person will help to do design work for those moves. *Day to Day Activities:* "Work with multiple internal teams to determine what the requirements are for a given project.. Investigate existing environment and document what equipment and configurations are in place and what is in use and how. Design new solution to meet the needs of the project taking into account the current Telecom standards and future strategies. Partner with staff to review solutions. Work with multiple internal organizations to create BOMs for what needs to be purchased. Work with vendors and multiple internal teams for delivery and deployment. Support UAT for the projects and troubleshoot issues or escalate issues to the appropriate parties to resolve."
