*Application Systems Engineer/DBA for WebCenter and Oracle* DOAS is seeking an Application Systems Engineer/DBA with a strong background in WebCenter and Oracle databases. The agency is currently working on a medium size WebCenter implementation to store documents which will be used with the PeopleSoft application for the state.
This position will split duties between the WebCenter Administrator and the DBA for all other applications in the agency. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the WebCenter application. He/she will also be responsible for supporting the other Oracle databases in Solaris from a logical DBA role. Physical server support is not the responsibility of this position and is performed by a third party vendor. The candidate for this position will coordinate with the third party vendor to support the infrastructure part of the databases and applications. *Qualifications:* The Application System Engineer/DBA will be responsible for the WebCenter implementation and support the logical DBA activities for Oracle and: · Must have the ability to design, setup and maintain WebCenter. · Must have experience in WebCenter in setting up roles, responsibilities. · Must have experience in WebCenter for containers, metadata model for content deployment, storage, and backup processes. · Must have the ability to support logical DBA activities for Oracle in Solaris. · Must have the ability to support Linux, Tomcat/Apache. · Must have the ability to support Oracle 9i, 10g, 11. · Must have proven knowledge in CRON jobs and scripting. · Experience with Shareplex is a plus. · Proven knowledge in SQLServer 2008 and 2012. The candidate should have proven knowledge and skills in the following operating systems and databases: *Operating Systems, Application Servers and Related:* - WebCenter - Solaris - Linux - Tomcat/Apache - Unix Shell Scripting - Oracle Gateway Databases:- Oracle 9i, 10g, 11 - RMAN Other:- Shareplex - Migration of CRON jobs.
