They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a syste m, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organiz ation, software design and implementatio n. The scope of the Solution Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. A Solution Architect needs to ha ve knowledge of all the different aspect s of the technical solution as well as robust business knowl edge. This includes the Software Architect. SPECIFIC SKILLS: • 10+ years of consulting/system implementation experience required • Experience with 5+ full lifecycle system implementations • 5-10 years of development management experience • Experience managing the daily interactions and data/file t ransfer between an onshore functional team with an offshore development team • Experience with one of the following systems is a must; Ne tSuite, Just Enough or JDA • Strong organizational skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong Project planning skills • JIRA experience a plus.
