Design ETL architectures and procedures Perform analysis and SQL scripting Performance Tuning and optimization on very large (multi-terabyte) databases Manage capacity planning and performance analysis Work with application developers to design and develop database objects and structures according to project specifications Address data quality issues with users, vendors and management Analyze organizational data requirements and create logical and physical Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams using tools such as Visio and Erwin Required Skills: Experience in Data Warehousing/Data Mart environments, with an in-depth knowledge of database structure, data warehouse configuration, methodology, design, and modeling Experience in data profiling, data analysis, data quality checking High level of analytical and creative skills Advanced (5+ years)Teradata skills: SQL, FastExport, compression 3+ years working with ETL Ascential DataStage UNIX: development of Kornshell scripts to execute Teradata BTEQ & UNIX functions ZENA: development of processes and scheduling Mainframe, PGP, FTP, Connect Direct and BTEQ Software development lifecycle process, including the ability to generate supporting artifacts for each phase Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven skills as an effective liaison with both IT and business units in multiple levels of the organization Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects by prioritizing correctly, including working within a cross-functional team Thank you for your time and look forward to work with you..
