This is a niche role and we understand that not everyone will have this.* *Developer- Analyst (Microsoft Visio)* *Job Description:* As a technical member of the Adaptive Program Simulation project team, this individual would primarily be responsible for the development of custom Microsoft Visio files to support the front-end component of the simulation tool. These Visio files would capture the necessary information to allow for the execution of multiple clinical trials while incorporating decision points and interim program analyses throughout the process. This involves the creation of shapes and templates specific to clinical programs, adding custom fields to shapes to hold data, and leveraging Visio’s capability to generate XML files. The individual would also interact with the PK/PD modeling scientists and the technical project team members to ensure that the necessary shapes and fields are created to support the key design requirements for creating a program. *Responsibilities:* · Analyze, Design, Develop, Test and Support custom Visio diagrams for designing and capturing all of the data needed to run clinical program · Develop basic validations to ensure required data is present and in the appropriate format prior to submission for processing · Review and implement technical requirements · Deliver the production software solutions adhering to company standards and practices *Technologies* · Microsoft Visio 2010 · XML · Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) *Knowledge of following subjects would be required:* · Process modeling / diagramming · Understanding of System Development life cycle (SDLC) *The candidate needs to possess the following skills:* · Proficient in Microsoft Visio 2010 and the following features: o Creation of custom templates and stencils o Adding custom data fields to shapes o XML structures for Visio .vdx files (must be familiar with elements and attributes that make up the Visio object model) o Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for basic validations and interaction with the user · Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all team members. · Fluency in English, both verbal and written · Minimum of five years’ industry experience of software development · Experience in analyzing information, software algorithm design, software design, software debugging, software development fundamentals, software documentation, and software testing · Demonstrated experience translating business needs and requests into functioning software · Ability to meet deadlines, work within project timeframes, and to quickly adapt to changing business needs · Innovative & creativity · Planning & organizing skills Business Orientation / Knowledge Thanks & Regards, Prasad Mamidela | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc.
