Job Title: QA Lead
Location: New York
Duration: 3-6 + months
Rate: DOE
Required Skills:
Lead QA initiatives including managing QA teams of 2-3 people and
contributing to the testing effort in a hands-on role;
ü Work with the Client Manager to evaluate and enhance SQA standards,
technologies and approaches.
ü Assist in creating the SQA project toolkit (e.g. templates for
requirements traceability, test plans, cycles, cases, scripts and
standardized reports, such as a root-cause bug report and a test execution
progress report), and training project leadership on toolkit practices and
deliverables .
ü Experience using ALM
ü Assist in implementation of the SQA project audit process and toolkit to
ensure project compliance with SQA standards and overall deliverable
quality;
ü Assist in defining the SQA methodology, to include test phases and
associated terminology;
ü Expert at SQA methodologies, tools and approaches (black box, white box
and automated testing experience);
ü Have strong technical skills preferably Teradata /Cognos with the
ability to lead the white box testing effort
ü Knowledge of enterprise application technologies (Database and
Application Servers) and issues (scalability, security);
ü Extensive experience testing database and database centric applications
(Data Integrity, Data Quality).
ü Experience building complex test harnesses to support large scale
testing initiatives
ü Strong experience in regression testing for reporting BI solutions
preferably with Cognos
ü Work closely with cross-functional organizations, project teams and
clients to develop project schedules, execute test plans and cases and
deliver high quality products
