*IVRS Consultant*

*location: Boston, MA*

*Duration: 1 year project*


*Overview:*
1. Design, develop, test, document and deploy application software for
Interactive Voice Response (IVRS) unit using Avaya Dialog Designer.
2. Investigate, analyze and resolve IVRS related defects and enhancement
requests.
3. Work on assigned tasks and report progress to IVRS supervisor and
manager.
4. Perform IVRS system analysis and design work for new or modified IVRS
system applications.
5. Assist business users during IVRS related system design, development and
testing.

*Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:*
1. Review and analyze requests for new systems or modification of current
system.
2. Develop detailed task estimates and schedules for assigned projects.
3. Consult with IVRS supervisor and teammates to determine impact to
existing IVRS application systems and estimated completion dates of
business requests.
4. Prepare IT functional and detail specifications for systems projects
including required data elements, edit criteria and sizes; data element
dictionary; screen and report design and methods of access. These
specifications must be able to be used by other IT software developers to
develop subsystems or programs.
5. Using knowledge of IVRS software, develop, program and test new or
modified complex systems, programs, and Voice Response scripts.
6. Prepare written test plans and create test data and thoroughly test
systems or programs created.
7. Perform IVRS administrative duties as required to support both
production and test environments
8. Perform routine maintenance of the IVRS operational environment as
required.
9. Perform routine maintenance of the IVRS web services as required
10. Participate in IVRS system platform upgrades as necessary.
11. Alert IVRS supervisor, manager, affected business users and agency help
desk on observed or reported IVRS production problems.

*Qualifications:*
1. Hands On experience and expertise with Avaya Dialog Designer is
required.
2. Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases is required
3. Experience developing IVR solutions targeting different languages as
such as Cantonese, Portuguese, etc. is desired
4. Experience with Avaya Voice Portal and Avaya Interaction Center IC
concepts and techniques desired.
5. Experience with Web Services concepts and techniques desired.
6. Experience with VoiceXML concepts and techniques desired.
7. Experience using Eclipse interactive development environment (IDE)
tools.
8. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
