This position will work with a small group of Application Engineers supporting the same goals of PTC delivery. The willingness to learn new applications are critical to the success of this role. The ability to work within a flexible, changing environment is a must as we are often learning by trial and error, proof of concept and detailed analysis. *Required Experience* · 10+ in technology related field. Railroad Industry definite plus. · 3+ years of Linux - Intermediate to Senior Level (Messaging) · 3+ years of operating as a System Administration/Application Administration at an Intermediate to Senior level · 3+ years Intermediate level understanding of Network engineering (VLANS, traffic optimization, etc) · Basic understanding of GPS / NMEA 183 · Systems Integration (move to experience) · 3+ years working in a VMWare Environment *Preferred Experience Information* · Understanding of Railroad Operational Processes as it relates to Locomotive, Signal and Communication processes. *Skills* · Intermediate to senior level LINUX administrator · Advanced Systems/software engineering experience with complex scripting abilities.
