• Analyzes and resolves complex and high impact problems related
to business intelligence issues.
• Coordinates and controls the system activities associated with
projects.
• Estimates the activities of highly complex projects and
communicates status of activities to project managers and directors.
• Manage configurations, patch implementation and version control
of production and pre-production systems.
• Develops and maintains procedures and documentation for system
operation, monitoring, and fault correction.
• Provides expertise in support of complex problems and issues
involved with production systems.
• Serves in a leadership role to teams with other technical
personnel to design and develop solutions for the organization.
• Mediates and resolves service level agreement compliance issues
• 5 + year experience working with Microstrategy.
• Strong technical skills working with all aspects of
Microstrategy(8.x/9.x):
o Schema design and implementation (Star and Snowflake)
o Application object design, implementation and management
o Interactive dashboard design, development and management
o Distribution service, mobile and portal delivery techniques
o Microstrategy server administration
o Microstrategy software upgrade planning, implementation and
testing
o Performance tuning and stress testing
o Experience developing statistical metrics a plus
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and business
intelligence concepts
• Strong SQL experience (prefer Teradata)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience
