Job Title : Sr. Storage Engineer
Location : Sterling, VA
Duration : 6+ months
*Job Description:*
· Work with team to find hosts with idle storage which can be
reclaimed
· Analysis of existing host to storage relationships, determining
the LUN / masking / zoning configuration for all target hosts
· For hosts being decommissioned, recover the storage, including
reclaiming LUNs, SAN ports, removing zones
· For hosts being migrated, provision new storage on target arrays
/ switches
· Work with Host team on data migration using host centric or
storage centric techniques as appropriate
· Work with other storage team members to ensure that documentation
is kept up to date
· Participation in a 24x7 on call rotation as secondary and primary
POC
· Day-to-day duties as assigned (ServiceNow tickets, filing Change
Requests, meetings, etc)
