Experience on Web API (RESTful API) and the tools around API development is
the main focus. Candidates mention Web API in the profiles, but might have
just consumed them i.e. from the client side. We need people who have
developed Web API (server side) and have experience in designing them, have
used / are aware of tools used in such development like Fiddler/SoapUI for
testing and Swagger.Net for documentation.
The other important part is the middleware components used in architectures
like SOA, Server Broker, Message Queues etc.
Experience on database design for RDBMS and NoSQL (preferably in both) is
required.
AWS and API Gateway experience or awareness is a plus.
Lastly, the basic understanding of C#.Net, Data Structures and programming
skills.
