*Environment/Release Engineer*
*Duration- 6 months plus*
*Timmonium, MD*
Responsibilities:
· Setup, Maintain & Troubleshoot PayPal Staging and E2E environments for
their applications
· Release Management and package compilation
· Deploy web services
· Troubleshoot issues on web services, by looking at logs etc.
Required Skills:
· Experience with PayPal or any similar Financial Institution
· 5+ years of experience with Unix/ Linux and shell scripting
· Experience in web and REST/SOAP Services testing in an automated fashion
· SQL experience, PLS SQL and basic sql scripts (preferably on Oracle) is
required
· Hands on experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
· Strong Configuration Management/Release management experience with tools
such as Maven, Hudson, Ant
· Experience with Jenkins and CI concepts
· Hands on experience on Webservers – Tomcat, Jboss set up and trouble
shooting.
· Maintain and execute E2E automation suites for responsible projects
· Cloud experience (hybrid cloud environments)– e.g. Google Cloud
· Ability to coordinate with different app development teams and
create/update documentation on set up guides/run books etc.
Nice to Have Skills-
· Database: Informix & Teradata experience
· Experience in writing Selenium web driver automated tests
· Experience in driving the entire testing life cycle from gathering
requirements to preparing and executing test plans
