Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: DOE
*Job Description: *
· Optimization and monitoring of database servers including
capacity planning and performance
· Assisting with database design in collaboration with application
developers
· Management and maintenance of data, including backups, data
fixes, replication, restoration and high availability of operational
systems
· Configuration and management of security of company SQL servers,
including troubleshooting
· Capacity planning for the deployment of database servers across
the organization
· Installation and configuration of database services within FSBP
and FSIP
· Collaborate with other DBA's across the BFUSA offices to share
knowledge and provide mutual support
· Assistance to application developers and system administrators
where appropriate
· Work within framework of corporate standard and policies and
contribute to their ongoing development, particularly in security, change
management, change control and best practices
Required Skills:
· *BS/BA degree in related field*
· *Minimum of 7 years related experience*
· *SQL Server 2000-2008 R2 administration*
· *Windows Server 2003-2008R2 experience*
· .NET Development experience
· Data mart/Data warehousing Experience
· Experience in the following would be an added plus: Manufacturing
Systems Experience (PLCs), Human Machine interfaces and manufacturing
engineering experience
