*Job Title: Software Engineer – Linux/C++* *Location - Florida* *Job Role Summary:* *The position is for a software engineer to design and develop an enterprise level Train Control System for Railroad customers.* *In this role, the Software Engineer is expected to work on software development and maintenance of the Unified Train Control System (UTCS). UTCS system is an enterprise level system used by Norfolk Southern (NS) Railroad to control train movement and planning functions. Engineer in this role is expected to work closely with the software development and test team in providing root cause analysis and solution for the issues reported by customers. The software engineer is also expected to assist software development team in performing sub-system and system level software verification testing.
