*Required:*
• 4-year degree from an accredited institution in MIS, IT, Computer Science
or related field, OR appropriate combination of education and significant
experience
• Minimum 5+ years of Linux/*NIX system administration and operation of
highly available
• systems (preferably in CentOS/RedHat)
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing development, staging and
deployment servers
• Minimum 3 years of experience with WordPress or other related open-source
content
• management system with setup and maintenance of LAMP servers
• Minimum 3 years of systems analysis experience including requirements
gathering, functional design, and technical design
• Demonstrated ability to handle rigorous attention to detail in a
fast-paced environment
• Experience setting up and maintaining centralized version control system
(SVN and Git)
• Fluency in administering Apache Web Server, MySQL database server
• Extensive experience with MySQL/MS-SQL, familiarity with design and
architecture of relational databases
• Troubleshoot, diagnose server security issues and performance problems
and quickly implement solutions
• Working knowledge of browser technology, features and functionality
• Experience with system, unit and integration testing of web applications
• Windows Server and IIS experience a plus
• Experience with Amazon Web servers
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, nginx, AWS.
