The keys to this position will be their experience with Data Analysis and
integration.
They need to be business minded Analysts with heavy skills in SQL to be
able to pull data from relational databases.
They must understand business rules, patterns in data, ability to see
errors, and understand how the fields relate to each other and how that
data impacts the business.
It can be either SQL 2000 or 2005, not as much focus is on the version as
before.
Strong data integration knowledge
Analysis and cleansing of data using Microsoft SqlServer Integration
Services Platform 2005, not 2000!!
Good documentation and is able to transform business requirements into
functional specifications and is able to implement the software code using
SSIS
Knowledge of data mart generation from a data warehouse
T-SQL and SQL advance knowledge using Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Business Analyst with very strong SQL Background
*Requirements:*
1 year with SSIS 2005
2 years of Data Modeling experience
Previous experience in a data warehouse environment is a must.
