*Job Description*:
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an ETL Developer.
The ETL Developer will provide inputs to design, build, and implement an
ETL and Data Quality Framework.
The candidate should have demonstrable expert-level ETL (Extract,
Transform, Load), development experience using IBM InfoSphere 8.x/9.x.
Past experience which is demonstrable with Data Governance and Data Quality
will be a plus.
*Role: *
The focus of this role will be around successfully building an ETL and Data
Quality framework leveraging past Technology experience with the entire
product suite of IBM InfoSphere 8.x/9.x; i.e., Business Glossary, Fast
Track, DataStage, QualityStage, Information Analyzer, and MWB.
The candidate should also have strong experience with Large RDBMS/Data
Warehousing platforms (Oracle and DB2).
The ETL Developer will work as part of a small ETL and Data Quality Team to
deliver a reusable ETL and Data Quality Framework.
This role will also require the individual to have strong business
communication and collaborative experience.
Ability to form positive relationships with peers and peer teams for
Project success is also a key requirement for this role.
*Skills/Qualifications: *
7 years of ETL Tech.
Lead/Senior Developer experience in the Consumer and Deposits Financial
Services Sector; Deep Domain knowledge in the Deposits domain required.
5 years of demonstrable experience with ETL and Data Quality Implementation
for Large Projects.
5 years of demonstrable experience working with projects that span ETL,
Data Modeling, Reverse Engineering in the Analytics domain.
Demonstrated business acumen and problem solving skills.
Demonstrable effective business communication skills across a varied
audience (Business and Technical).
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and on cross
functional activities and tasks.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering equivalent.
