*The person can work in Washington DC, Frisco TX or Scottsdale AZ*
*They are willing to do phone interviews and Skype interviews for this
position. *
*One year of Liferay experience is required. *
Following are some of the key responsibilities we can look for in the
Liferay resumes to determine their Liferay product experience.
Developer
1. Experience with Java port let development using JSR286 (Portlet
specification 2.0)
2. At least 6-8 years experience working in Java based projects
3. At least 3 years experience working in presentation layer using
Spring MVC
4. At least 1 year experience working on a project using Liferay
5. Experience developing Spring MVC based port lets that communicates to
services layer using REST
6. Experience developing and consuming REST services in Java
7. Experience developing other custom plug-in types like themes, layout
8. Basic Portal administrations
Sr Developer
1. All the above
2. Overall 8-10 years experience in java based projects
3. At least 4 years working on presentation layer using Spring MVC
4. At least 1 year experience working on a Liferay project
5. Experience with transactions based Liferay projects and not just
intranet projects
6. Experience developing hooks and Liferay extensions
7. Experience with Liferay persmissioning system and implementing page
and field level permissions
8. Experience with portal administration, site administration, roles and
privilege mapping
