Explanation for Position:
Lead Technical Specialist responsible for development and support of the
migration of the Avaya IR platform to the Avaya Experience Portal IVR. The
Avaya IR is used in Europe to support 11 countries. Resource will help
migrate the IVR from IR 4.0 to AAEP in conjunction with a team from Avaya.
Resource must be an expert in VXML and will help UPS perform code reviews
of new Avaya developed application as well as help train the UPS team on
the new platform
Details of Position:
Skills needed are: Strong knowledge of the Avaya IVR platform and minimum
of 3 years development experience with VXML/CCXML languages as well as
experience in developing grammars for the Nuance speech platform. Knowledge
of Java a plus
Management Skills:
Candidate should have strong verbal and written communications skills. Good
time management skills. Proficient in MS Office products
