Job Description: Position: Oracle Weblogic, Apache Web Administrator
/Specialist (Sun Solaris and Linux platform)Key responsibilities &
Competencies:
o Bachelor's Degree, Minimum 6+ Years? experience with strong
Technical and Professional Competencies.
o Strong Technical specialization with hands on implementation
and supporting Weblogic 10.3.x, Apache webserver 2.2.x on Sun Solaris
OS/Linux Platforms.
o Administrative tasks such as Installation and Configuration of
Oracle Weblogic 10.X, Apache 2.x on Unix OS, configure Web applications,
Migration. Manage Web server configuration settings, Monitor performance
and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
o Provide Level 2+ technical support for hosting of production
applications on a complex/setup involves Internet External facing
application to be deployed on Java /UNIX environment with platform
components of Apache web server 2.2.X, Oracle Weblogic Application servers.
Platform hosting infrastructure on Enterprise Public/Private Cloud
technologies.
o Effective communication and interpersonal skills, working
experience with offshore and other support team across various geographical
locations.o Well versed in automations with WLST Scripting,
Weblogic ANT Task, JDBC Connection Pool management, JMS configuration,
Weblogic Security etc.o Apache and java J2EE support within an
N-Tier architecture requires a good knowledge of other underlying internet
technologies Proxy, SSL/HTTPS, Proxy server, Firewalls, TCP/UDP and
Networking.
o Architecture Designing to meet NFR requirement such as
scalability, High availability , Disaster recover, setup replication
solution with Active/Passive and active/active solutions, capacity
planning, performance tuning, implement technical solution on various
technologies products such as Apache/J2EE/Oracle Weblogic/...etc.
o Well versed with Web internet technologies, Load Balancer,
Networking Firewall, DMZ, Web application firewall, and security aspect.
Experience of shell scripting/Weblogic Scripting Tool (WLST)
o Knowledge on Oracle DB 11g on should be able to support as
part of N-tier web service support.
o Knowledge of the ITIL terminology, structure and concepts and
comprehended the core principles of ITIL practices for service management.
High self-drive and confidence. Willingness to learn and work in teams.
Good problem solving skills and analytical skills.
o Experience in handling incidents /Change tickets through
Remedy or other Incident and change management tool.
o Understanding of technology (hardware and software) and
specific domain expertise. Should be able to troubleshoot complex problems
underlying with Internet web technologies. Certificate in Oracle Weblogic
10g/11G is preferred.
o Knowledge on web technologies, Java J2EE, with networking
LDAP, DNS.
o Experience working on Google.In addition STRONG IIS ADMIN sk
