Position: 2 * JD: • Receive and troubleshoot critical technical issues reported against designated DW and BI applications. Research, manage, and coordinate resolution of complex issues through completion • Build new Xcelsius Dashboard applications utilizing BusinessObjects Xcelsius 2008/4.0 • Build new universes utilizing BusinessObjects Universe Designer XI 3.1/4.0 • Provide solutions, approaches, and improvements as required in the Production environment, and provide direction to the members of the DW team working simultaneously with cross-departmental teams: Architecture Team, Development Team, Database & Unix Administrators, Account Executives, Project leads, Operations, Vendor IT contacts & Server, Network personnel • Proactively monitor DW & BI Applications for meeting and ensuring customer defined expectations • Responsible for communication with internal customers from business organizations for resolution of day to day issues in DW Applications and BusinessObjects Applications • Ensures knowledge transition from development teams on applications moving to production support • Participate in production migrations and upgrades, patches for BOBJ XI3.1/4.0, develop processes for sustaining the DW & BI environment and ensure implementation of the same • Other IT Support related tasks as deemed appropriate by management QUALIFICATIONS • Five plus years of technical experience in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environments • Five plus years’ experience developing Business Intelligence reporting solutions using BusinessObjects Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, QAAWS and/or Live Office, or similar Business Intelligence development tools. • Three years’ experience developing BusinessObjects universes and dashboard solutions using Universe Designer XI 3.1/4.0 and Crystal Xcelsius/2008/SAP Dashboards • Three plus years of proven technical experience developing BI reports using Web Intelligence XI • Three plus years of proven technical experience developing universes using Universe Designer XI • Exhibited extensive knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of BusinessObjects universe, dashboard development, data modeling and systems design, or similar Business Intelligence development tools • Proven experience working with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process as it applies to the development and quality assurance of all task artifacts, processes and activities • Experienced in data processing, data modeling and flow-charting methodologies • Three plus years of experience with Oracle PL / SQL required • Five plus years of experience with SQL (Oracle, MS SQL or DB2) required • Previous experience with working in a high paced, high pressure Production Support environment • Proven analytical and problem solving skills for assessment of complex production support issues and recommend / implement effective solutions • Previous experience in using IT Ticketing processes for managing incidents and issue resolution and conversant with established Change control / Change management standards • Previous experience in defining process for production support and implementation and tracking of processes internal to the team • Other software desired includes, MS Office products, MS Project, Visio, TOAD, SQL Navigator, ERWin (or other data modeling solution) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and in a team environment • Four year degree or equivalent experience required • Certifications in DW / BI technologies highly desirable -- *-- Thanks & Regards Gary Team Lead/IT Recruiter PH:732-645-1446 E:g...@hmgamerica.com http://www.hmgamerica.com/* [image: HMG Logo.jpg]<https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&ik=2734495796&view=att&th=1411d3bd254967b7&attid=0.1&disp=inline&realattid=f_hkmrnjna0&safe=1&zw> -- -- *************************************************************************************** For all SAP related tutorials,Articles,Faqs,Tips www.sapbrainsonline.com **************************************************************************************** You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sapbrains" group.
