SITION DESCRIPTION:
Under general direction of the Lead SharePoint Developer Engineer, the
SharePoint Developer provides development support for transit agency's
Sharepoint infrastructure initiative. This position is responsible for
various projects related to the build out of our Sharepoint 2013
infrastructure. The SharePoint Developer will provide development support
on migrating applications from our Sharepoint 2007 and 2010 environments to
Sharepoint 2013. This position will also provide development support for
integration of a variety of agency systems with Sharepoint.
NATURE OF WORK: Candidates must be willing to work a 40-hour week.
Occasional work on evenings and/or weekends may be required to support
deployment of code into production Sharepoint farms.
Examples of Important and Essential Duties:
Serves as a technical lead for application integration
projects.
Leads design and development of business applications using in
Microsoft Sharepoint 2013, .NET, C#, XML, with SQL/Oracle etc. environment.
Conduct web part and user control development.
Leads design and development of application interfaces.
Design and development of Sharepoint business intelligence and
dashboard solutions
Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Working knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework with C#
being the primary programming language
Visual Studio 2010/2012 development, HTML5/CSS, XML, and
Client side scripting (Javascript, AJAX, DHTML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML, CAML).
Working knowledge of the Sharepoint Object Model
Three (3) years of experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
Desirable Qualifications:
Possession of a Microsoft SharePoint Certificate (2010).
Familiarity with Open Text ECM Suite for Microsoft,
KnowledgeLake, Ecosys, and Nintex Workflow development tool.
Prior experience with Biztalk and Sharepoint integrations.
Thorough understanding of SharePoint Master Pages, Page
Layouts and CSS files.
Experience with using the SharePoint content deployment
features.
SQL Server Reporting Services integration experience.
Experience with creating content types and site columns.
Good understanding of Sharepoint Enterprise features such as
InfoPath form services, Excel services, and Access services
Experience with mid-large size IT/Business projects.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
