*Title: Jr. SAP Purch / Procurement Developer* *Location: East Peoria, IL* *Duration: 1+ year* *Description* Responsible for ensuring facility Power Users have process maps, standard work and can successfully convert demands (forecasts, customer orders, internal and transfer orders) into production schedules which meet the needs of the customer in a cost-effective fashion. *Education/Experience: * Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/work experience. Eight plus years relevant professional experience. Current use or extensive prior knowledge of SAP required. SAP Certification required, however, hiring manager will consider candidates not yet certified as long as they become certified within 6 months of start date. 2+ years of Procurement experience required. 2+ years of Manufacturing experience required. Supply Chain, Quality Management, Enterprise Plant Maintenance, or Materials Planning experience preferred. *Skills and Competencies: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze Value Stream Maps, Standard Work, Process Maps and other technical data. Ability to accurately document and record facility processes, enable them in SAP, assist site with documenting data requirements to enable processes, determine the proper testing scripts and have the ability to train facility on how to execute. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing. Knowledge of supply chain management. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio. *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain configuration and master data in SAP to enable facility processes. Identify, negotiate, and bring to resolution any process gaps working with facility and other departments. Review and manage process maps and standard work with facility that will be used in the plant to enable the production process. Develop and maintain materials required to train Power Users and support them in training end users at the facility. Ensure SAP set-up to generate planned orders and convert planned order in SAP. Monitor orders, stock status, and MRP exception messages with Power User in SAP to ensure timely delivery of raw materials to support production. Ensure Power Users can develop and maintain planning data in SAP. Ensure Power Users can identify and work with production and purchasing departments to resolve all raw materials availability issues. Preference will be given to those that have experience with Mach 1 SAP solution, SAP Quality Management and/or Enterprise Plant Maintenance in addition to SAP Procurement.
