*Responsibilities Include:*
- Implement and troubleshoot server/systems infrastructure in a large
24x7 environment.
- Be able to implement from design diagrams a highly available and
scalable system infrastructure. Candidate should be able to translate a
design concept into a working diagram highlighting individual
hardware/software components required to integrate the project into
existing infrastructure.
- Manage work completion to engineering milestones by ensuring that
development, integration, test and production environments are all in sync
- Support and maintain communication and project workflow between
development group of architecture and engineering teams and the
operations/implementation group.
- Experience with and understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS,
OpenStack and VMware
- Advanced experience with the following VMware concepts:
- VMware vRealize Operations Manager
- vDistributed Switches
- vMotion/Storage vMotion
- Able to create, maintain & deploy templates
- Create clones & customization profiles
- High Availability (HA) & Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS)
- Host profiles
- Install and configure Dell blades chassis and servers (Rack mounted &
Blades)
