*Responsibilities:*
- Break down functional requirements into development tasks and
executing to completion.
- Creation of solutions design, developing (X++ and/or C#), debugging,
unit testing
- Driving design meetings and interacting with peer developers towards
common solutions.
- Mentoring and setting an example for junior developers.
- Presenting to peers, team or IT community on technologies, ideas, or
other projects.
- Maintaining high application availability and excellent client
support.
- Authoring and maintaining physical design documents.
- Conducts peer code reviews.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Sciences or related field (an
equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may
be considered)
*Experiences, Skill-sets & Personal Competencies:*
- Microsoft-based development technologies, including .NET, C#, ASPX,
AJAX, SQL Server
- Experience with software development life-cycles, both traditional
(MSF) and agile (Scrum)
- Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and/or other ERP/Supply Chain systems
- Knowledge of current principles, practices and techniques of systems
analysis
- Knowledge of technical developments and trends in application
analysis, design, and development.
- Ability to diagnose application problems quickly and develop effective
solutions for them
- Ability to create technical solutions to problems stated in a business
context
- High level of self-motivated accountability/ownership
- Ability to see assignments through to completion based on agreed upon
deadlines
- Ability to learn new business processes or application nuances very
quickly.
- Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely in understandable form,
both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
the business community, vendors, customers, and co-workers.
