Role: .NET Developer Location: Schaumburg, IL Duration: 6+ months contract to hire MOI:: T + S Rate:: $50 /h on c2c GC or USC *References are required at the time of submittal(need a professional email address or a LinkedIn page link)* Currently has a contract to hire opportunity for a hard-working, multi-talented ASP.NET web developer for web and mobile responsive applications with our direct client’s expanding digital interactive development team. *Experience building leading edge UI using ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3 and SQL Server is a must. * *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * • Demonstrate advanced understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework and related application stack components including ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC, C# and VB.NET. Provide expert technical input during development process including requirements gathering, functional specification, integration analysis, testing and deployment. Write clean, well-formed, modular and reusable code. Design, code, test, debug and document applications and changes according to requirements. Write quality unit tests and perform integration testing. Train cross-functional users and team members to use and support web applications. Coordinate application revisions and upgrades with team and other departments. Be equally comfortable working in a team environment, on projects shared between multiple developers as well as independently on assigned tasks and projects. • Provide technical support by responding to help desk tickets. Thoroughly analyze previously written code. • Coordinate backup, recovery, scalability and availability requirements. • Both frontend and backend development. Understand browser compatibility issues and implement resolutions. Monitor server and application statistics to help attain optimal performance. Work with team to optimize the infrastructure and architecture related to all web-based systems. • Demonstrate excellence in project management & communication: be self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Develop project plans, create estimates, coordinate resources, communicate progress and work within budgeted time. Review work of team members as needed. • Consistently deliver high-quality services for the company. • Coordinate database design, development and implementation with database team. • Possess demonstrated work experience with relational database management systems. *QUALIFICATIONS * • 4+ years of professional experience in *ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>, HTML, CSS and XML* • 4+ years of professional experience in *JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery* • Ability to construct advanced, flexible user interfaces with JavaScript • Ability to integrate web applications with current and emerging social media platforms and marketing tools • Adept at balancing fresh user-centered designs with taking art direction and using creative agency designs • Skilled at using web service technologies such as *SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XML, REST and JSON* • Experience with *Microsoft SQL Server databases (2008-2014)* • Expertise in *Microsoft Visual Studio (2008-2015) and Team Foundation Server 2013* • Skillful with design applications such as *Photoshop* • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Possess equal parts of attention to detail and style, humble attitude and hunger for a challenge • *Experience with mobile application development (web, responsive, iOS, Android, PhoneGap, hybrid).* • Ability to construct new and integrate third-party CMS to support internal and external applications. • Expertise in web security including SSL certificates. Proficiency in at least three of the following tools and techniques: *E-commerce platforms*, CMS, SEO, Google Analytics, IA, Usability Engineering, HCI, Reporting. Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: Project Management, Network Security, Network Administration.
