In this job you will define solutions for problems, using a variety of
tools and technologies, using open source as well as proprietary
frameworks. The open source tool we are using that is the core of customer
care is SugarCrm an open source tool and requires skills in PHP, Mysql,
Backbone, Underscore, Javascript and Elasticsearch. If you are lacking one
or more of these skills, no worries, as long as you can demonstrate core
skills in any other language such as Java, Python and a strong
understanding of systems, databases and service oriented architecture.
As a member of the SugarCRM team you will push the envelope of client's
customer care experience by developing new features, streamlining existing
processes, and adapting the application to the ever evolving digital and
print business needs.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the business and users to understand requirements.
Innovate and brainstorm new features
Design and develop solutions in the open source SugarCRM framework.
Integrate webservices
Code reviews
Continuously improve the deployment process
Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of object oriented software principles, design
patterns and agile methodologies
- 3+ years web development experience with PHP, Java, Javascript
- Strong relational database - Mysql, Oracle
- Experience in Unix environment and shell scripting
- Experience developing and consuming restful with Web services
- Experience with Amazon EC2 is a plus
- Experience with Docker is a plus
- Experience with Machine learning libraries is a plus

- Bachelors/Masters Computer Science
