Position Overview: This position requires technical knowledge and
experience with Oracle Applications, including but not limited to Oracle
E-Business Suite Planning & Financial Applications, Hyperion and related
integrations. The candidate will be required to gather business
requirements, design, develop, implement, train and support solutions
within the Oracle space. Ideal candidate is a highly motivated,
self-starter who enjoys the challenge of learning new technologies in a
fast paced environment
Specific Responsibilities Include: Design, develop and deploy Hyperion
Planning, Financials and Performance Management solutions and applications
that improve efficiency, financial transparency and enable performance
measurement.
Utilizes best practices and knowledge of internal and external business
processes to support and enhance Oracle's E-Business Suite Financial
Applications and integrations.
Executes strong troubleshooting skills to research issues, provide
solutions and communicate them concisely. Works independently managing
ones' own workload, based on priority defined by management.
Works cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business requirements
and solution capabilities to provide technical solutions while adhering to
IT development standards, the IT Change Control process and SOX
controls/requirements.
Results oriented. Ensures system updates are fully tested and operable.
Develops detailed technical work plans with accurately estimated tasks and
labor hours. Meets defined timelines for deliverables. Collaborates with
team members providing guidance and support. Willingness to help. wherever
possible.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree - Additional education information (major, etc.):
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or
Accounting is essential.
2 years of experience developing or maintaining at least one of the
following Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Financial Planning products: Hyperion
Financial Management, Oracle Ess base or Hyperion Planning.
3 years of experience technically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite R11i/
R12.1.3 Financial applications and integrations including AP, AR, GL, FA,
PN, PO, OM, OIE, INV, PA, OKS, OTM, AME and Client OneSource Indirect Tax
(Sabrix).
Solid understanding of Finance strategy and operations, including financial
planning and close processes.
3 years of development experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle 10g / 11g
Forms and Oracle 10g / 11g Reports, BI Publisher, Java, J2EE, SOA and Unix.
