*Qualifications*
To be qualified for this position you must have:
8+ years of ETL experience using Informatica Power Center 9.6 software
within a structured systems development life cycle.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job related experience.
• Experience with integration between DB2 on iSeries, Oracle and SQL Server
utilizing Web Services and MQ/JMS.
• Skilled in ETL tool suite to design and develop work flows,
transformation mappings, and UNIX scripting.
• Strong skills in ETL design and development - understanding the tradeoffs
of various design options on multiple platforms using multiple protocols.
• Experience with versioning and Team Based options in Informatica Power
Center, Informatica Power Exchanges (SQL, Oracle, DB2, CDC), and Data
Quality tools.
• Strong understanding of Informatica Architecture and Repositories.
• Experience in Informatica Administration Access and Code Deployment best
practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability
collaborate with technical peers.
• Strong problem solving skills with abilities to work independently and in
a team environment.
• Ability to convert ETL design into specific development activities and
communicate progress to management and project leads.
• Previous Experience with Lead Unit and Integration Testing activities and
assisting in User Acceptance Testing as needed.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Visio.

• Experience in implementing best practices, performance tuning, and
optimization techniques.
• Ability to conduct code review with EAS Architecture team to ensure

*Overview*
THE COMPANY is currently seeking a Senior Applications Developer - ETL. The
key focus of this position is to deliver Information Technology solutions
for new and changing business processes, as well as assist in the ongoing
development and administration of best practices for data movement, data
quality, data cleansing and other ETL-related activities to meet business
needs. This position will provide technical knowledge of
Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) solutions assigned projects. The Senior
Applications Developer will participate in design and development efforts
for data integration for ERP and custom applications residing on Oracle, MS
SQL Server, and DB2 platforms. This position provides ongoing support and
problem resolution for integration software.
*Responsibilities *
The Senior Applications Developer – ETL will participate in requirements
definition efforts at the program, process and system levels for projects
that are at the mid-level in both size and complexity. The Senior
Applications Developer participates in or may lead design efforts for new,
mid-level programs and integrated processes. Design may be custom or
involve adaptation of or integration to third party or packaged
applications software. Design activities may involve learning package
software and evaluating configuration options of the application against
business requirements. This position will document design tasks and provide
periodic status updates to project leaders and managers.
The Senior Applications Developer will develop new programs and
enhancements to existing programs at the mid-level in both size and
complexity. Development includes unit testing and may involve configuring
of third party or packaged application software and/or custom development.
S/he will ensure the quality of developed and delivered IT capabilities.
This position will coordinate and support functional and user testing, as
well as ensure proper change control procedures are followed. The Senior
Applications Developer will evaluate system integration impacts beyond the
scope of specified change. In addition, s/he will participate in the
planning, creating and coordinating of test plan efforts. This position
will provide support as necessary to applications and users within a
functional area, as well as proactively look for tools and methods to
improve the operation of the supported area. S/he will work with other
areas of IT to ensure operational readiness of systems. The Senior
Applications Developer may guide the work of applications developers and
will maintain current technical skills and develop new skills through
formal and informal skills development regimens.
