Job Code CW00S37J: Responsibilities: Encompasses multiple disciplines,
including technology architects, solution architects, and enterprise
architects. Architects: Are responsible for delivering business value to
customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that
address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities, in a
manner consistent with HP’s strategic and business goals. Have knowledge of
architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understand how to
apply this knowledge to successfully deliver customer projects. Establish
and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both
internally and with the customer by understanding the customer’s business
context and their unique situation. Collaborate with both internal and
external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs in order to
facilitate the definition and development of the solution. Strong
supporters of the professional development framework for their profession
and use the knowledge and best practice derived from their professional
associations to the benefit of their customers. Collaborate with project
managers to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery,
deployment, operation and support of these IS solutions. Collaborate with
the accountteam to meet or exceed revenue, product, customer satisfaction
and market share goals for assigned account(s).

Industry experience – minimum 10 to 15 yearsBachelor’s degree in computer

ARS/WYPC Java / Oracle (TSO Cleveland) Position Description and Skills
Required
Work Year Personnel Cost (WYPC) uses an Oracle database and a JAVA
interface. WYPC’s input source is the Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS).
WYPC tracks only current year appropriated funds including Foreign
Nationals. The Navy and Marine Corps use the reports which are available
on-line and include both detail and summary reports. The detail reports are
used by the field sites and the summary level data is used by the major
commands. The data is forwarded to the office of Navy Financial Management
and Budget (FMB), which in turn uses the information for reporting to the
Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Office of the Secretary of
Defense (OSD), and its own budget formulation process. The system is run
worldwide, therefore has to be available 24X7.
Adoption Reimbursement System (ARS) is a web based system used by Military
Pay personnel in DFAS-CL that allows data entry and processing of claims
for reimbursement of authorized expenses for qualified adoptions by Active
Duty members of all military services (excluding Coast Guard). The system
has a weekly processing cycle and interfaces with the Automated Disbursing
System (ADS) for making payments to members.
Contractor support shall focus on such tasks as; system development and
maintenance, requirements gathering, system analysis and design,
documentation, coding, testing and implementation. Other tasks include;
assisting with the distribution and installation of any client-resident
executables and programs, monitoring production jobs, researching and
resolving production problems, dealing with end users and hosting sites to
resolve issues and providing technical support to end users and other
developers.
