I know this thread is over a year old but it seems appropriate to reply to it here rather than creating a new thread. First of all I would like to say that I think Satchmo is a great project and ideal for my requirements. However Django 1.4 is reaching the end of extended support in a few days (October 1st 2015). Is it still true that Satchmo requires Django 1.4 an will not work with newer versions of Django? If so, are there any plans to update Satchmo to work with newer supported versions of Django?
