GLIBC hasn't moved to SVN, nor has binutils. Only GCC has moved to SVN to my
knowledge (and I'm trying to come up with some solution that would make it
possible to mirror the GCC tree without a huge CPU load).

Ah, ok, in that case only libc needs fixing.
Would be cool to mirror binutils/gdb, but that repo is a mess, and you'd end
up mirroring the whole /src directory. :(

Well that is what you get for hitting RET a bit to early... Sorry for that.
Anyawy, the problem is that the CVS mirror of glibc here on Savannah isn't
being updated any more, since 2005-12-15, and I suspect that this has
something to do
