Essentially, from the perspective of firewalls/etc it should be exactly the same as using cvs over ssh... Savannah only offers write access for svn through ssh access. So you can use http access also if there are firewall issues, etc, preventing ssh, but you can only do so for read access. On

I am going to work on your repo a bit later today. Yes, I can try to filter out the dead directory using svndumpfilter, and do a quick load to a scratch repo, mv exosip around for correct layout, and then generate a new dump out of that. Aymeric Moizard wrote: On Thu, 19 Jun 2008, David

I had prepared svn dumps for GNU commoncpp, ccscript and ccaudio, as they were the first and easiest things for me to migrate from my local repo. However, I found no way to load initial svn dumps remotely once activating svn for a project, and saw nothing about doing this last step from the faq.

Hi, You need to give us the URLs to the dumps for us to import it. (it documented when you activated SVN in your project, e.g. https://savannah.nongnu.org/svn/?group=pngpp check Import your Subversion tree) We would be glad to have this step automated; currently this is not possible. --
