FYI, I first installed the git-post-receive-hook and git-cia

Then I noticed that gnuherds-app already had an update hook pointing at
git-cia. So I suppose someone had

Done.
git --git-dir=/srv/git/gnuherds-app.git config --unset hooks.mailinglist
It works. The emails are not sent to the list. However the CIA hook is not
working anymore! Maybe it was out of the

I ask for it because some translators (non-developers) who are subscribed do

The make command is failing with the below message.
How to fix or work around it?

You're all set, except it looks like the git-cia script has no option to
use anything other than the project name, which is gnuherds-app.
Since the script is used by other projects, it'd be easiest

just change the script to get the name from a git config setting,

Then run git config hooks.cia_proj_name some_other_name for that project.
Has been a new task created at Savannah to take note of this?

IMHO it should not be needed to contact to the Savannah administrators to
enable these features. It should be possible enable it directly in the

Fear about slowness: database query + XML-RPC transport
To solve such problem both applications could be
located in the same LAN or maybe even in the same
machine, not in different Internet
This has been proposed:
* Each webapp will maintain its frontend.
* Integrate at XML-RPC level. Do not share code; anyhow the
new Savannah will be Django based and gnuherds is PHP.
* Keep gnuherds data in gnuherds database, and use XML-RPC only
to fetch Savannah and gnuherds
