t2.micro instances require an HVM AMI and must be launched within a VPC.  
This requirement is described in the AWS T2 documentation 
.  A 
Farm may be configured for launch within an Amazon VPC as shown in the 
attached screenshot.

Hi Marc,

I am trying to add Role with my FARM and want to choose t2.micro instance 
But dorpdown showing t2.micro in disable mode with message Compatible with 
VPC roles only 

Can I use t2. micro without VPC..?
