David Crumrine of Loyola University and chair of Chemistry Day, explains the
Chemistry Day admissions policy at Adler Planetarium this Saturday Nov. 3:

The students and teachers can get in free, the parents may have to pay. The
problem is decreased income at the planetarium. They, the adler employees,
need to show their supervisors that they are working as hard as they can to
raise money. We will be working to identify all the students, teachers, and
CHem Day workers so that they will be admitted. I am very sorry about the
parents, but don't see a way around it ...unless they want to volunteer. D.
Crumrine
