pre-existing rpmdb problem(s), 'yum check' output follows:
common-lisp-controller-7.8-4.2.noarch has missing requires of asdf
Using --skip-broken is of no help.

Hi all, I had a bad surprise: the root password I know is no longer
accepted. Neither bu su, nor by yum.
I've been using Linux for many years (now SL 6.2) and it never happened
before, so I'm stuck.
What can I do?

sudo's allowed actions depend on the
security policy and I didn't remember anything about that.
Once read 'man sudo' I checked sudoers file and found I had configured
%elioALL=(ALL)NOPASSWD: ALL
(elio is my account's name).
All that I had forgotten, of course :)

Hi all,
I'm stil using SL 6.2 (waiting for the fog about future SL, CentOS ...
to dissolve).
I'm in need to update firefox. A version for RHEL6 systems exists
(firefox-91.4.1esr) but yum finds no repo for that package.
