I saw Wanted and really liked it (everything except that first chase scene with
the motorcylce and the bus and everything, I hadn't quite suspended my
disbelief at that point in the story, lol) I thought the ending was perfect
also.
The storyline, in my opinion, is easy to continue. In a book
Oh, MAN, that's conflicting. It's like if Pushing Daisies gets

The biggest mistake the makers of the WANTED movie made (besides not
making her black) was killing off the Fox character. That said, the
graphic novel, which differs from the movie, offers a perfect avenue
for continuing the story.

It's almost certain the Pushing Daisies is a done deal. I really like that show
as well.

Amen,
Man, did you see this press conference yesterday? I swear, I haven't seen the
members of the press so happy in years. They were positively giddy! Every
single person called on was beaming, and they were so respectful: Thank you
for taking my question, Mr. President-elect! I could tell they
Well, this is what I was talking about the other day when I posted on this on
Election Day, and how CNN covered it. I was a bit taken aback that Blacks
voting for the prop in large numbers was central to the CNN report. They were
talked about along with Mormons, who really fought for the ban.
Oh, you had to ask! It was that crappy superhero show on the WB a few years ago
that featured a team of young superheroines. One was Oracle, one was Black
Canary, one was some psychic girl. Shemar Moore starred as a police detective.
It was horrible, and canceled very quickly, thank goodness.
Thanks! And if I were to be honest, I must say that I too was all a-tingle when
I saw that conference. I've been so upset over these years of lies and
half-truths, with moves from shutting out reporters like Helen Thomas, to
forbiding pictures to be taken of servicemen's caskets returning from
My mistake: one of the character's isn't Black Canary herself, but her
daughter. The show was still crappy, though. It had silly plots, bad acting,
and a really dark look that was less of a mood setter than it was something
that looked like bad camera work. Reminded me of bad computer game CGI,

Jamie talked about this on his Sirius radio show this weekend. He also
told more stories of the overt racism he faced growing up in Terrell.

I liked the movie version of Jurassic Park but I loved the book. It's
much nastier, has lots less of the heroic kid stuff and delves more
into the science. Plus it has more species of dinos and the creator of
the park meets a very different fate.
