Yeah, I ran into that growing up in Texas. I knew people with last names like
Leal, that they pronounced leel, or GAR-cee-ah instead of the proper
gar-CEE-ah. It always saddens me, coming as I do from people who know next to
nothing about our roots in teh Motherland. I just can't understand how
