I had mixed feelings about The Host the first time I saw it. I went
in expecting a well done monster on the loose movie but got something
else. The Host is a well done monster movie but at its core it's
actually a very well done family drama. The monster is the plot
device to drive the drama.
I haven't seen The Mist but I had the ending spoiled for me. I sort
of like where the story ends vs. the ending of the movie. The story's
protagonists have a happier ending(not) but their world is destroyed
and eventually their luck will run out. The movie's ending just adds

Did you like Mist? I read the ending to the movie and the book, (I knew
it would be ages before I got to see it) and I've got to say the ending
