I had to comment on this OT. I started a campaign among my friends not to
purchase from or subscribe to catalogs or magazines that exclude ethnic looking
models. I do it with commercials too.
I have been doing it for years. I
When I left the business, I kind of did the same thing. I was able to
survive off of catalog work and commercials. If those companies seem to go
out of their way to not use Africans, Asians or Latinos, I go out of my way
to avoid using their product
