The country's most famous drag queen, who shot to fame with the 1992 hit song "Supermodel (You Better Work)" sent Christmas cards this year in which he portrays both Barack and Michelle Obama. The photo card's message reads: "Finally something we can all celebrate." RuPaul looks eerily similar to the future first couple as he poses in outfits identical to the ones the Obamas wore when the president-elect accepted the Democratic nomination. The singer's transformation into a drop-dead gorgeous Michelle Obama took between four to six hours, while his Faux-bama impression required significantly less time, a Ru rep says. The card doubles as an advertisement for his upcoming reality show, "RuPaul's Drag Race," in which contestants compete for the title of America's next top drag queen. The host will play dual roles: RuPaul, in glamazon drag, judging the participants' efforts; and the debonair Mr. RuPaul, offering helpful advice for each challenge. The show premieres next February on Logo, a gay-friendly cable network. Copyright © 2008, Chicago Tribune
