i'll knock up a quick howto, as i have plenty of time on my hands.
also i think there are free java applets that could be added to the
website and set to automagically join the scotlug channel. if anyone is

I was having a look at this months calendar, and spotted that this months meet
will be the 25th. Are we sticking with this date? Moving it so that the
students can come along before the end of term? Moving it to Saturday 27th?
etc. Any thoughts?
You only just noticed
well, that would make it christmas doy though. but if that suits most
people, then go with that.

How about we leave it at the last Thursday of the month. This LUG

The point being that the last Thursday of this month is Christmas Day - you
might have prolems getting into the Counting House or Livingstone Tower
that day!

i'll vote against the 27th, cos i was hoping to go, and wont be able to
make any date after the 22nd. but if its after the 22nd, then fair
enough. i'll just make an effort to be at the january one.

raised when I asked about this issue in #scotlug. The main reason I asked, is because
I assumed that most people would be elsewhere on Christmas Day, and have other things
to do than come along to a LUG
