I wanted to post an update so that I can let people know what's going on.

Currently work is being done to get windows build working. I was able to get cygwin builds to work. The major problem with sdl perl building is making the several dependencies work together. One solution for this to build everything from scratch. SDL provides extra tools to make this possible. But this will be undesirable with Dave's and my vision, hassle free sdl.

Alternative to this to build packages ourselves and putting them on sdl.perl.org. Then Alien::SDL will get them an extract the to the correct places. This is ideal but requires help from whatever community we have to build this stuff.

Finally, people may have noticed a dip in commits to my repo. This is due to several reasons, but mainly I do not want to continue adding more bindings until building works.

Any opinions and guidance Is welcome.
