Re: [sdre-l]: dan and a solo record

i don't think a dan solo record is a good idea. SDRE is one of those bands that is excellent due to the different parts coming together. i really loved jeremy's solo album, but i feel that he is a unique talent that amazingly pulled it off in a different direction. maybe it's just me, but

this sounds great, but are we sure it is legit. the rumors have been brewing for a long time now. i hope this is the real thing, and if so, s this a wide release or special order item? -- raymond

i know certain songs are listed as co-written without defing who contributed what. also, shared/overlapping lyrics is something that jeremy does often. the idea of relationships going in "circles" comes up very often on several albums. just my two-cents. good job by ferris getting this

i'm sure some songs had to be removed to add others, but the prophet is an excellent song, well worth being on the album. who knows, maybe once the band gets settled, maybe they will release a live album that they even approve of. just my two cents. raymond

why don't you recommend that they leave off the title, artwork, maybe three or four other songs... it all "flows" if you need it to, but it wasn't an album about a single idea

just remember ... all artists want to be heard a certain way. Napster bootlegs are usually NOT the same quality you get on a record or CD. you can preach to a choir about wanting to hear the music (i'm right there with you), but i would never comp my favorite band because of my impatience.

that's insane. tickets for the boston shows were $15. i got four tickets, all those same charges and everything for $70. either the venue is ripping fans or ticketmaster is out of controll again. my two cents... --ray

with the exception of having issue with jeremy's joice of words, i agree with your statement on "emotion." if that is due to nate's departure, the loss of tension within the group (and if it comes down to that, we'll do with out. no more break-ups please) or just a maturing process, I am not

A question for anyone who saw or knew SDRE was at Toad's Place in CT last night (tuesday). The venue runs a video screen off to the side and has a larger audio booth then most venues... so there most be a recording around. now I don't agree in selling bootlegs, but if anyone had any info on
